Dr. Reid's career spans over two decades, marked by significant roles in both the public and private sectors. Before leading Tax Contenders of America, he served as Vice President of Finance at Broward Hospital, where he was responsible for overseeing financial operations and strategic planning. Dr. Reid also held notable positions within the Internal Revenue Service, including Revenue Manager and Revenue Agent, where he gained invaluable experience in tax compliance and enforcement.

In addition to his corporate roles, Dr. Reid has a distinguished academic career. He has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia and held faculty positions at the University of Arizona, Washington State University, Adams State University, and Lynn University. He has developed and taught a wide array of courses in accounting, taxation, management, and finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
